The 15
Clarity
Questions

Working out what you actually believe

What this is

Fifteen written-answer questions across six short sections. You answer them in your own words. Most people take 25 to 40 minutes end to end, and you don’t have to finish in one go. Your answers save in your browser as you type, so you can close the tab and come back later. When you’re done, you can email the finished profile to yourself.

Why fifteen

Ten is too few to get past what sounds good. Forty is too many when you’ve had less time on the planet to build the raw material the questions ask about. Fifteen is the count that gets you past the answers you’d give a parent or a teacher and into the answers that are actually yours.

What you’ll have at the end

Three core beliefs, written in your own words, that you can point to and say why you hold them. A printable Belief Profile. An email of the same profile sent to you if you want it. A prompt to come back in ninety days and see what’s changed.

What this tool won’t do

It won’t grade you. It won’t compare you to your friends. Nobody sees this but you. There is no right answer. The only way to fail is to write what sounds good instead of what’s true.

Who this is for

People aged 12–18 working out what they actually think, before other people finish deciding it for them.

Who this isn’t for

Anyone looking for a personality label, a quiz score, or a shortcut. This is written answers, honestly given. If that’s not what you’re up for, close the tab.

Take your time. Write your answers. Be honest rather than impressive. Nobody sees this but you. The questions that make you uncomfortable are the ones doing the most work.
Youth Edition The Adult Edition of these questions (40 questions, 5 beliefs) is available if you want the longer version.

Six sections. Fifteen questions. Three core beliefs at the end — yours, tested, real.

Final Step

Your Three Core Beliefs

The beliefs that everything else hangs on.

Look back across your answers. What themes repeat? What words kept appearing? What surprised you? Your three core beliefs are already in those answers — this step names them clearly.

A real belief has a price. If it costs you nothing, it’s just a nice thought. Write the beliefs that have actually cost you something to hold.

Your Belief Profile

What You’ve Built

If you answered honestly, you now hold something most people twice your age never build: a map of your actual beliefs. Not inherited. Not borrowed. Not performed. Tested against your own behaviour, your own friction, your own choices.

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
The Gospel of Thomas, Saying 70

What to Do Next

  1. Write your three beliefs somewhere permanent. Not a phone note you’ll lose. Somewhere you will see them.
  2. Come back in 90 days. Not to change them — to check whether you’re living them. Beliefs unexamined become decoration. Beliefs tested become foundation.
  3. When a decision confuses you, hold it against your three. Does this choice move toward your beliefs or away from them? The answer simplifies most decisions.
  4. Come back to these questions when life shifts. Your beliefs may evolve. But they should evolve through honest examination, not through drift.
